Paul Gableman (Iron Crunch MMA) vs Danial Norton (Toe to Toe Fitness)
Daniel throws a 1-2 early and Paul gets a body lock. Daniel gets a body lock but Daniel is able to stay upright. Upon disengaging Daniel sends a few shots his way and Paul comes back at him for a clinch and another take down. Daniel works him to the ropes and defends from the takedown. They get clear of each other and Daniel takes one to the nuts, hard. They get back into it and Daniel uses his reach to stick with jabs until Paul closes the distance and get the body lock again. Daniel gets over-under and moves him tot he turnbuckle. They clear again and trade a left. Paul goes back to the body for a takedown but Daniel’s defense is exceptional. Paul drops for absingle but is still unable to take Daniel down. Daniel pushes Paul down for a guillotine attempt but is unable to finish before the round ends.
Paul RUNS at Daniel and tries a Daniel meets him with a superman punch. LIKE A SKY DUEL, these guys barely miss each other and they get back to grappling. Paul was able to get Daniel to his knees but rose quickly. DaniePaul’s chin proves tough as Daniel hits him with 1-2 combos. Paul abandons the takedown game and stands with Daniel. After takeing a few more shots from Daniel, Paul autopilots to the takedown game. Daniel is able to defend and they get to square. Daniel keeps scoring the 1-2 and Paul continues have trouble with the takedowns.
Round 3 Paul comes in with some inside leg kicks and on the 3rd one shots for the takedown. Daniel uses the ropes and ring to his advantage and stays standing. They trade some knees int he clinch and Paul drops low for the single. Paul gets him up really high and they slam to the mat. Daniel is able to stand after some posturing. They stymie in the clinch and are separated. Paul gets back to the clinch and is able to secure a takedown late in the 3rd just as time expires.
