Deace Goodman vs Allan Roque (Amatuer MMA 170 lbs)

Round 1: Both fighters come out and exchange high kicks, and then end up in a clinch. Goodman gets the take down and ends up in Roque’s guard. Roque tries for an arm bar but Goodman gets out of it and the fighters are back to their feet. Once again, Goodman gets the take down and soon ends up in an arm bar attempt. He escapes again, and the fighters are back to standing. This time it’s Roque that lands some leg kicks and tries for the take down. It is Goodman, however, that is successful with the take down, and he ends the round delivering punches to the body of Roque.

Round 2: A take down attempt by Goodman lands Roque out of the ring. When they stand back up, Goodman unleashes punches to his opponent’s body and head, really wearing him down, before taking it back to the ground. Here he punishes Roque with more punches to the body; however, Roque is able to sweep and take top position. When he can’t pass Goodman’s guard, he lets the fight stand back up. Goodman delivers brutal punches to the head and body of Roque. The fight is stopped.

Goodman wins at 2:30 of round number 2 due to refere stoppage.
